Ah, Western Pennsylvania. Where the weather is 60 degrees and sunny one day and 22 degrees and snowy the next! Where you're in short sleeves and flip flops on Tuesday and a parka on Wednesday! Good times!
Anyway, I hope you're staying warm and that your New Year is off to a great start!

I’ve added Your Guide to Local Indoor Fun, which lists all of the area’s top indoor play spots, including indoor play spaces, centers for sports-type fun, and bowling alleys. Are you a Marie Kondo fan? I first read her book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up about a year ago, which has been adapted into a Netflix show called “Tidying Up.” I haven't seen the show (yet), but found the book to be quite interesting...especially the parts where she talks about items in your house that "spark joy." (In other words, if they don't spark joy, get rid of them. Hmmm...) If you’re all about getting organized in 2019, there’s a great piece on the KonMari method in this week’s newsletter!
And while our kids wait with baited breath for the first major snow storm of the year, it’s time for us parents to start prepping for snow days. Having a plan in place can help to alleviate the stress that comes from unexpected days off. Check out that article here.
