Kids Bike Safety Rodeo

Kenny Ross Subaru in North Huntingdon is proud to present the 2024 Bike Rodeo along with North Huntingdon Township Police Department, Pro Bike+ and Walmart.  We will be hosting our first Bike Rodeo to promote safe riding practices for our community youth.  This FREE community-wide event is for youth 17 and under and will take place on Wednesday, May 29th 2024, from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at Oak Hollow Park.Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and supervised bike rodeo for youth and promote cycling for fun, transportation, safe biking practices, skills, and fitness. Statistics reveal that many young people are involved in bicycle-related crashes.  We hope to successfully convey this safety message to the participants during the 2024 Bike Rodeo. All participants must complete required forms at the Registration Booth.  All youth must be registered and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents, please bring your children’s bikes and helmets so they can participate. Bikes and helmets will be inspected for safety by Pro Bike+. Helmets are required for all riders. Participants will go through several stations to test their bicycle skills. After completing all the stations then the children's names will go in a drawing for several prizes, including a couple bikes and helmets provided by Walmart. All participants will receive a special backpack. Youth need to participate and be present to win. No need to cook dinner, The Lunch Lady on Wheels food truck will have food for you to purchase.
