Wyndham Alltra Riveria Nayarit is a family-friendly, relaxing getaway for those looking to unwind in paradise. From the moment you step foot on the property, you are greeted with warm smiles and beautiful views. Here are my top 6 favorite things about this resort:

1. The Pools
The pools were clean and well-maintained, and I loved the infinity pool that seemed to stretch into the ocean. There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas around each pool, and I appreciated the different steps and levels that made it easy to find a comfortable spot to relax. During the day, the staff led pool activities for kids, which added to the family-friendly atmosphere.
2. Entertainment
There was a great variety of entertainment at the resort. During the day, kids can join the activity staff in making crafts and pool activities. I had a blast painting a baseball cap and learning some basic Spanish. Some evenings, the whole family can look forward to jaw-dropping acts. The fire show and circus performers were my favorites, and the talent level was phenomenal. On other nights they had live music and a fiesta with authentic cuisine, shopping, and dancers. There's something for all ages to enjoy.

3. The Staff
The staff at the establishment were caring and kind. They warmly greeted us every morning and ensured we were well taken care of. The concierges, barista, room service, and activity staff were all fantastic and added to the experience.
4. The Wildlife
I watched multiple iguanas each day and was amazed by their beautiful colors and large size. They came down from the trees in the morning and lounged under the pool chairs. If wildlife isn’t your thing, don’t worry, they stay to themselves.
One morning, a fellow publisher called us down to the beach. I couldn’t believe such a magical sight - tiny baby sea turtles making their way to the water. Witnessing this incredible moment in nature was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. The turtles aren’t a planned event but show the beautiful wildlife around the resort.
5. Excursions
I had such a great time exploring on our excursion. Our first stop was in the charming and vibrant seaside town of San Pancho. From there, we headed to La Patrona, which boasts a polo club, restaurant, and a stunning beach club available for day use. Our last stop was Sayulita, a bustling town with many shops and eateries to explore. It was a day well spent!
6. Dinner Experience
Al Dente has some amazing Italian dishes that are simply delicious. Their bruschetta and chicken parm are definitely worth a try. La Costa has a great selection of Mexican food, and the flank steak is one of my personal favorites. Oshean’s pan-Asian cuisine is simply amazing. The rooftop restaurant and bar is definitely the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long beach day.
This was such a relaxing and fun-filled few days checking out the resort and all the area offers for families.
