I have many fond memories of participating in my local library's summer reading program as a child (shout out to Adam's Memorial Library.) I'm very passionate about encouraging literacy and the summer reading program is a great way to do that. These local libraries have created and worked hard to provide their communities with fun events, activities, prizes, and more. Don't forget, that most libraries offer an adult reading program, too!
