Does being stuck at home have you dreaming of your next vacation or maybe you had to move or cancel your upcoming trip? Well, there is no reason why you can’t bring a little vacation to your home with some fun crafts and movies. When we are stuck in the house for long periods of time, I head to the Disney Family Website, they are my source for family fun ideas that definitely brings some pixie dust to our home! They have tons of wonderful activities, recipes and ideas to keep the little ones busy. Some of my favorite crafts, activities and recipes are listed below:
- One of our favorite things to do, as a family, is to host a family movie night at our home.Lately it has been Frozen 2. Since we have next few weeks off I thought it would fun to add this adorable craft for Frozen Snow Globes https://family.disney.com/craft/frozen-2-snow-globe/ prior to watching the movie along with adding some of our favorite frozen treats.
- You can also download free coloring pages from https://family.disney.com/ I typically have a stash of them already printed and ready to go for rainy days. We take the colored pages and hang them our little one’s bedroom doors or my home office door.
- If you recently went on vacation it’s a great time to pull out the pictures and create a scrapbook of all the memories we created. We also like share your favorite memories from the trip, it normally, gets us excited for our next family vacation and all the fun things we want to do.
