2020 is finally here! A brand new year and a brand new decade. Isn't it crazy when we think back to what we were doing 10 years ago? Everyone follows a different path, but I think that one thing most of us have in common is that 2010 seems like both just yesterday AND an eternity ago.
I'm positive that I am not the only one who has experienced some drastic changes since 2010. I've had many new and wonderful people enter my life, including my own three children, but I've also lost loved ones. I've gone through many triumphs and successes, as well as many disappointments and failures. My career path has completely changed direction. I've learned so much, but mostly I've learned that there is SO MUCH MORE to learn!
I am now setting my own personal goals for the future, and I hope that you are, too! But first, I encourage you to take the time to look back over the past 10...20...30 years. Think about how far you have come, consider all the changes that have occurred, and remember both the great times and the hard times. I think that the past is very special, should not be forgotten or ignored, and should be used as fuel for the future.
