This summer, your children can explore new instruments, enhance their singing skills and perform on stage at Maestro Minds School of Music!
Since 2002, Maestro Minds School of Music has been instilling the love of music in children and adults, regardless of age and ability. This summer, they’re offering musical theater groups for ages 5 to 15 this summer, as well as Instrument Exploration classes for ages 6 to 8, Group Voice for ages 5 to 15, and Intro to Ukulele for ages 8 to 12!

Beginner Ukulele Experiment!
Ages 8 to 12
Have a Uke? Want to learn to play? Join Mr. Cameron at Maestro Minds and learn chords, strumming patterns, finger picking, and songs! This class is for beginners, you bring your Uke, and we provide the rest 🎶
Begins Thursday July 11th

Summer Instrument Exploration
For children ages 5-8
6-week summer class
Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 6:20 pm beginning June 4th! In our fun-filled, active music class, students will explore piano, guitar, drum, vocal, violin and more, designed to help them chose their favorite instrument!
Summer 2019 Group Voice!
How should you breathe when you sing? How can you support your voice, and begin to project? What about vowels? Do we really need to enunciate? We will answer all of those questions and more in our fun filled Group Voice classes! Learn these important beginner vocal skills that lead to healthy voices!
Mondays 6-6:30 with Miss Molly for ages 5-7
Mondays 6:30-7 with Miss Molly for ages 8+
Wednesdays 6-6:30 with Miss Mia for grades 1-3
Wednesdays 6-6:30 with Miss Haley for grades 4-10
8-week session for each group runs June-July 2019! This will be a non-performance session.
SUMMER 2019 – Mini Theater Presents: Lilo & Stitch
Younger students and students new to musical theater will explore acting games, choreography, and theater singing while preparing to perform segments of musical theater shows! Perfect for brand-new beginners and our young students!

Dress Rehearsal: Monday, July 29, 5-6:30 pm
Performance: Saturday, August 3, 2 pm
Summer 2019 – Junior Theater Presents: Matilda Junior
Wednesday evenings from 5 to 6 pm, we have our junior musical theater group for students in/finishing grades 1-3 with at least beginning reading skills. Each student receives a role with speaking lines, solo singing lines, group singing and dance/choreography. We perform with full costumes, microphones, props, set, sound and lighting on our own stage, and the students become very comfortable as they rehearse weekly right where they will perform! We see our students flourish in this class, gaining confidence and enthusiasm. Our class sizes are limited to 16 to 20 students, each show varies.

Rehearsals: Wednesdays, June 5-July 31, 5-6 pm
Dress Rehearsal: *MANDATORY* Friday, August 2, 5-8 pm

SUMMER 2019: Maestro Minds Theater Presents: Matilda
Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8 pm, we offer our two musical theater performance groups. (You chose 1 evening cast.) Our age group is for students ages 8-15. We perform a full length musical theater production, and each student receives a role with speaking lines, solo singing lines, group singing and dance/choreography. We perform with full costumes, microphones, props, set, sound and lighting on our own stage, and the students become very comfortable as they rehearse weekly right where they will perform!We have seen shy, reserved students become outgoing actors, and the skills they hone here at Maestro Minds allow them to audition for their school musicals with confidence and much success. Friendships that last a lifetime are also formed here, with students from many different school districts coming together to do something they love most! One evening of rehearsal per week lends itself to excellent productions and not a huge time commitment so that our students can also enjoy their other after school activities. Our cast sizes are limited to 20 students per semester, and we ask a $50 deposit to hold their spot in our show – enrollment begins in April (for Summer semester).
