This summer, Hempfield Township Parks & Recreation is offering 10 full weeks of fun for children ages 5-12!
Held at Hempfield Park, Hempfield’s Summer Day Camp features a brand new theme each week. Each day, campers will enjoy a variety of crafts, games, involvement from Greensburg-Hempfield Library and a daily snack. In addition, campers will take a field trip every Thursday and have pizza every Friday! And new this year are “alternating Wednesdays---every other week, there will be a guest speaker and field trip to the pool!
The camp is held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Early drop off and late pickup are also available, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Campers can look forward to the following themes and field trips:

Cost:
Full program (all 10 weeks): $1000 for residents; $1100 for non-residents
Weekly (must register by Friday before the week your child is attending): $120 for residents; $130 for non-residents
Partial week (must register by Friday before the week your child is attending, and child must attend 3 days of camp): $95 for residents; $105 for non-residents
Early drop-off: $15 each week for residents; $25 for non-residents
Late pick-up: $15 each week for residents; $25 for non-residents
