Hello, Mac Kid Readers:
This week, the LAST NINE WEEKS of the school year began in our district (Norwin). The year has gone both verrrrry slow (homework every night) and incredibly fast at the same time (weren't we just at the Halloween parade?). I truly believe parents of older kids when they say that the years are fast, but the days are long.
So. Summer is closing in fast! If you haven't already started investigating summer camps and activities for your children, we've got your back! Throughout the summer, I'll be including our 2019 Summer Camps & Programs guide. This week's newsletter puts the spotlight on summer art camps at Flow, an art studio on Main Street in Irwin. My kiddo has taken summer camps at Flow in the past and plans on taking a few more this summer--she loves them!
There's also a fun activity from the creative team behind Camp Invention, which offers camps at schools in Murrysville, Greensburg and Norwin, as well as a video article about how to help your kids learn to manage money. Finally, there's a fun math/counting activity that will have your kids learning how to add in no time!
